MANUFACTURING

Shifts And Overtime Recorded Once, Carried Into The Pay Run.

Plants run on shifts, overtime and approvals. BizzField HRMS records attendance against the shift, carries approved overtime into pay and applies LWF by work location.

THE PROBLEM

Overtime Lives In A Register, Payroll Waits On It

Several shifts and overtime every month mean anything the HR tool does not model is tracked on the side, and payroll waits until it is checked.

  • Overtime in a separate register. hours and shift changes are noted outside attendance, so payroll cannot trace what was paid to a recorded shift.

  • Approvals follow the wrong line. floor supervisors and plant heads report differently from HR's records, so overtime and leave reach the wrong approver.

  • LWF worked out by hand. Labour Welfare Fund contributions vary by state, so every plant in a different state needs its own manual calculation.

BUILT FOR THIS INDUSTRY

How Shifts, Overtime And Reporting Lines Connect

Attendance runs against the assigned shift, overtime is flagged against set limits, the supervisor approves it, and approved hours reach the pay run at cut-off.

Attendance

Punches mapped to the assigned shift; each supervisor sees only their own team.

Shifts & Overtime

One shift master. Approved overtime flows into pay, no separate register.

Org Hierarchy

Reporting lines from worker to plant head, derived from each reporting manager.

Statutory Configuration

PF and ESI rates, state PT and LWF slabs, and pay schedules, applied by work location.

COMPLIANCE

LWF And PT Applied By Plant Location

Labour Welfare Fund By Plant Location

State LWF and PT slabs apply from each employee's work location, so every plant follows its own state's rules.

FAQ

Manufacturing HRMS — Questions We Get Asked

Attendance is recorded against each employee's assigned shift from a single shift master. Overtime is flagged against the limits you configure, approved by the supervisor, and carried into pay at cut-off, so no separate register is needed.

Yes. The hierarchy is derived from each employee's reporting manager, so set the shift supervisor as the manager and attendance visibility and approvals follow that line up to the plant head.

Yes. Statutory Configuration holds state LWF slabs, and each employee's work location decides which slab applies, so a plant in another state follows its own rule. LWF contributions vary by state.

It's part of the Growth plan, which adds the full statutory compliance suite over the Starter plan's attendance and shift tracking.

Approved overtime feeds the pay run draft at cut-off. The attendance freeze stops late edits from changing the cycle, and variance checks flag unusual pay movements before the run is approved. Corrections for a closed cycle are settled through Retro Pay.

Yes. Multi-shift rosters, rotational patterns and overtime rules are configured per department, and night-shift allowance calculations are tied to payroll.

The Starter plan supports org hierarchy up to 3 levels. Unlimited hierarchy depth is standard on the Growth plan, for plants with longer chains from operator to plant head.

AUTOMATED CHECKS

Variance Checks Before Payroll Is Approved

Before a pay run is approved, BizzField compares the draft with the previous cycle and flags what looks wrong, so reviewers examine the exceptions instead of every line.

PRE-APPROVAL SCAN

Automated Variance Checks

Key Capabilities

  • Each employee's draft pay compared with the prior month
  • Pay movement above 20% flagged for review
  • Duplicate leave and expense submissions detected
  • Flags resolved from one HR queue before approval

Every draft run is compared with the previous cycle. Sharp pay movements, duplicate expense or leave submissions and timesheet conflicts are flagged for HR, who resolve each flag from a single queue while the run is still a draft.

SECURITY & PRIVACY

Role-Scoped Access And Privacy By Design

Access is enforced on the server from the reporting hierarchy, and data handling is designed around the principles of India's DPDPA. The security page sets out what is and is not certified.

DATA PRIVACY

DPDPA-Informed Data Handling

Key Capabilities

  • Consent logging for employee data
  • Data export for the employee
  • Deletion rights supported

Data handling is designed around the principles of India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act. That describes how data is handled; it is not a certification.

Key Capabilities

  • Server-side role-based access, not just interface-level visibility
  • Manager visibility limited to their reporting hierarchy
  • AES-256 encryption at rest for employee records, bank details and document files

Role flags are not left to the front end. Access is scoped on the server, so a manager retrieves records only within their own reporting tree.
