ON THE ROADMAP
Two-Way Email Sync Is Coming. Email Activity Is Already Tracked Today.
Two-way Gmail and Outlook sync is on the BizzField CRM roadmap and is not available in the current product. Today, email is already tracked as a Task type against any record and as a trackable Lead Source, so nothing about your email activity is invisible in the meantime.

Where Email Activity Slips Out of the CRM's View
None of this needs a new theory — it is exactly the gap two-way inbox sync is being built to close.
Inbox Sync on the Roadmap, Email Tracking Live Now
Two-way sync is being designed. Until it ships, email already has two supported ways into the CRM.
Planned: Full Inbox Integration
Two-Way Gmail / Outlook Sync
What you get
- Two-way sync of sent and received email with Gmail or Outlook
- Automatic linking of synced emails to the matching Contact or Account record
- Not yet available — this describes what is being designed, not what ships now
- Until this ships, the Email Task type and Email Lead Source remain the supported way in
Sent and received email will sync two-way with Gmail or Outlook, with messages automatically linked to the matching Contact or Account record.

Planned: Visibility on Synced Messages
Open and Reply Tracking
What you get
- Open and reply tracking planned for synced messages
- Would sit alongside the same activity timeline used for Calls, Notes and Visits today
- Not yet available in the current product build
- Today, engagement is tracked manually via Task Status on logged Email tasks
Once inbox sync ships, open and reply tracking on synced messages is planned to give reps and managers visibility into engagement without leaving the CRM.
What you get
- Open and reply tracking planned for synced messages
- Would sit alongside the same activity timeline used for Calls, Notes and Visits today
- Not yet available in the current product build
- Today, engagement is tracked manually via Task Status on logged Email tasks
Live: Email as a Task Type
Log Email as a Task, Live Today
What you get
- Log any email as a Task with Task Type = Email, alongside Call, Note, Follow Up and Visit
- Set Task Status to track where each email thread stands
- Attach Priority so reps know which conversations need a reply first
- Every Email task lands on the chronological activity timeline of the related record
Until two-way sync ships, email stays visible in the CRM through the existing Task module rather than a separate silo.
Live: Measurable Before Inbox Sync Exists
Track Email as a Lead Source, Live Today
What you get
- Set Source = Email on any Lead so inbound inquiries are tagged from day one
- Follows the same Lead Status workflow as any other source
- Run the Lead Source Analysis report to see how Email compares to other channels
- One-click convert a qualified email-sourced Lead into a linked Contact, Account and Opportunity
Email-originated leads are measurable now, even before inbox sync exists, using the same Source field every Lead already carries.
What you get
- Set Source = Email on any Lead so inbound inquiries are tagged from day one
- Follows the same Lead Status workflow as any other source
- Run the Lead Source Analysis report to see how Email compares to other channels

Email Activity, Not Email Silence
Until native sync ships, your team's email activity is already visible inside the CRM.
What's Already Live While Sync Is Built
Email Integration — Questions We Get Asked
Not yet. Inbox sync is on our roadmap. In the meantime, you can log an email exchange as a Task against the relevant record to keep a record of it.
We don't publish fixed dates while a feature is still in design. Join the waitlist below and our team will reach out with the latest roadmap timeline.
Yes. Set Source = Email on any Lead today, and it flows into the Lead Source Analysis report alongside every other channel — no inbox sync required.
Yes. Sync is designed to extend the same activity timeline and Task data already in use, so nothing you've logged as an Email task today will need to be re-entered.
Attachments on Tasks are not part of the current build. Document attachments are a separate roadmap item — see the Document Management roadmap page for details.
